Coastal Invasive Removal Team
Bringing together volunteers and other stakeholders to eradicate invasive plants affecting trees in
public spaces and help residents to remove invasives from their trees.
Help CIRT remove the invasive plants that are strangling our trees and altering our local ecology. There are many ways to be involved:
1) Volunteer at one of our events,
2) Remove invasive vines from your own trees,
3) Help a neighbor remove invasive vines from their yard,
4) Remove invasive plants that create mono-cultures and replace with native plants that provide food, shelter, and larval hosting, and/or
5) Report invasive issues using our reporting form.
